NYCGB Alumni

Welcome to the NYCGB Alumni community!

If you are a former member of any NYCGB Choir, then you still part of our NYCGB family! We’d love you to stay connected to our work and the ever-growing community of talented NYCGB graduates across the UK and abroad. Whether you’ve recently been a member or were involved back in the early years – you are very welcome.

We are so proud that our alumni have gone on to achieve such wonderful things. NYCGB alumni are graduates from across NYCGB’s 37-year history, including doctors, nurses, teachers, conductors, CEOs as well as professional singers from The Swingles, BBC Singers, The Sixteen, Tenebrae, Gabrieli Consort, Monteverdi Choir, Glyndebourne, Scottish Opera and Royal Opera House Choruses and come together from as far afield as America, Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong and Germany.

Whatever your journey, we’d love each and every one of you to stay in touch.

There are a number of ways you can choose to get involved. To be part of our supportive online network, join our Alumni Facebook Group; come together to sing with other alumnus by taking part in concerts and events or be part of NYCGB’s future by getting involved in fundraising initiatives to support more young people to be part of its life-changing programmes.

You’ll receive all the latest news updates by signing up to our monthly alumni e-newsletter.

Find us on FacebookInstagram and Twitter.

We long to see you!

We are so pleased to have reconnected with so many of you on our most recent project of recording Shenandoah during lockdown. The Alumni Committee is very busy behind the scenes planning some awesome events for the future, either virtually or hopefully in person. So please sign up to the newsletter so we can share these with you nearer the time.

This page is for Alumni of NYCGB who wish to either set up their own fundraising pages and challenges or set up a regular donation in aid of NYCGB's life-changing programmes for young singers.

Creating a Fundraising Page

Whether you're thinking of climbing Mount Everest, holding a singathon, running a marathon or walking the coast to coast you can create your own fundraising page on our website.

By clicking the 'Fundraise' button you can set up a profile for your chosen challenge and then invite your friends, family and colleagues to get involved and support you. You can track how much money you have raised and keep people updated on your progress.

Creating your Fundraising Page is really simple. Just choose a name for your page and add a message explaining why you think supporting current NYCGB members through the Alumni Champions Fund is important and why you're supporting it.

Click here for a step by step guide to setting up your own fundraising page and profile.

By creating a page on our website, rather than Virgin Money or Just Giving, NYCGB will receive approximately 3% more, per transaction (saved in paying administration fees)!

Once you have created your ‘Fundraising Page’ share the link on Social Media and by email to achieve the maximum effect and hopefully lots of donations!

Setting up a Regular Donation

If you wish to set up a monthly or annual Direct Debit donation then please click the 'Donate' button and follow the instructions. You can either choose one of the suggested donation levels or enter your own preferred level of donation.

Thank you in advance for your kind support and if you have any questions then please call or email Blythe Day | [email protected] | 07706 218180
