Spring 2019 Alumni Event: Liverpool, 19 April 2019

Following on from a hugely successful Christmas fundraising campaign, the NYCGB Alumni Committee are inviting NYCGB Alumni of all generations to Liverpool for a day of singing, meeting up with old friends, and making new ones.

Alumni will meet on Friday 19 April 2019 and rehearse music for performance at that evening's NYCGB concert at St George's Hall in Liverpool, alongside the National Youth Training Choir and conducted by Greg Beardsell.  The Alumni Choir will have their own slot in the concert, and will perform a challenging piece by Cecilia McDowall, 'O Oriens'. The Alumni will also join forces with the NYTC to perform 'Wo ist ein so herrlich Volk' by Brahms, and an arrangement of 'Rocketman' by Elton John.
