Description

"The National Youth Girls' Choir's sound was stupendous... it was an incredibly uplifting experience to be in the presence of so much young talent" - Craven Herald, July 2016

Taking NYCGB's 2019 artistic theme of 'Discovery' as its inspiration, the National Youth Girls' Choir presents a programme of music from 'other' dimensions. Gustav Holst's 'Choral Hymns from the Rig Veda' fuse Western and Indian musical modes to bring ancient Sanskrit texts to life, while Steve Goss and librettist Robert Isaacs take us into outer space with their 'Songs of the Solar System'.

We are delighted that this concert will also feature performances by our guest choir, Warwickshire Children's Chorus, run by Warwickshire Music Hub.

Part of NYCGB's 2019 'Discovery' Season
