Our choirs & courses Courses & Membership FAQ COURSES & MEMBERSHIP: What do courses cost and how do I pay? This FAQ updated: 9 October 2018 We are able to subsidise the cost of our courses by an average of 33% thanks to the generous support of numerous trusts, foundations and donors. Below you can see the cost per place to NYCGB, and the course fees that members pay. Course costs and fees 2019* National Youth Boys' Choir: Cost per course: £770 You pay per course: £565 National Youth Girls' Choir: Cost per course: £770 You pay per course: £565 National Youth Training Choir: Cost per course: £1,260 You pay per course: £805 National Youth Choir**: Cost per year: £2,185 You pay per year: £1,350 * National Youth Boys', Girls' and Training Choir members can attend up to two courses per year. ** National Youth Choir members commit to an Annual Programme of at least four projects per year. Booking and payment: National Youth Boys' Choir, National Youth Girls' Choir, National Youth Training Choir Financial assistance is available. We ask that you book, or decline, both Spring and Summer courses via the My NYCGB online members area by the end of January and that the deposit(s) are paid at the time of booking. (No deposit is requested for those awaiting decisions on applications for financial assistance.) The final instalment for the Spring course is due around mid-March and around the end of June for the Summer course. Booking and payment: National Youth Choir Financial assistance is available. We ask that you commit to the full Annual Programme when you are offered your place in September. The Annual Programme Fee is payable in three instalments of £450, with the first instalment due on 1 November, the second on 1 February, and the final instalment on 1 June.
