What's on News London A Cappella Festival Image: LACF 5 October 2017 The London A Cappella Festival has announced its 2018 line-up of artists and events, including NYCGB as Festival Partner. The festival will take place from 24-27 January at Kings Place and feature a diverse range of performers including The Swingles, The Beatbox Collective, The Tallis Scholars, and Tuvan throat-singing ensemble Huun-Huur-Tu. As Festival Partner, NYCGB will be offering children and adults the opportunity to experience a cappella singing for themselves through open workshops led by Ben Parry and Esther Jones on Saturday 27 January. On Thursday 25 January, the NYCGB Fellowship octet will present a warm-up set for The Tallis Scholars' recital of music inspired by French Renaissance master Josquin des Prez. Ben Parry said:"I am so pleased that NYCGB is the Festival Partner in the forthcoming London A Cappella Festival. A cappella singing has been, and continues to be, a major part of my life, and I am thrilled that some of our young singers will now experience the excitement and vibrancy of what LACF has to offer."
