NYCGB is committed to helping the UK's best and most promising young singers to discover and reach their potential, whatever their personal circumstances. A generous bursary scheme is available to help anyone with potential and/or skills from any background to participate.

Applying for bursaries

Bursary funds are available to help any applicant meet audition costs, and if offered a place in a choir, to meet membership costs and course costs, including travel and uniform. Full bursaries are available.

If you’re worried about any area of cost, please complete our online application form (link below).

Bursaries are awarded throughout the year to assist with auditions and courses.  If you would like to apply for financial assistance towards an audition this Autumn, please submit your Bursary Application form (via the link below) and email any supporting information no later than Wednesday 19th October 2016.

If you would like to apply for financial assistance towards travel costs to an audition or course venue, please provide us with details of estimated travel costs, such as a scan of an online rail fare quote, or estimated mileage and email nycgb@nycgb.org.uk stating the young singer's name and 'Bursary Application Supporting Information' in the title of the email.
