Everyone within NYCGB takes responsibility for the safety and welfare of the young people on our courses, led and advised by key people with specific roles and experience and governed by policies, procedures and codes of conduct developed in association with the NSPCC. Our singers have great fun on their residential courses: a result of being challenged musically and intellectually, achieving great results, and meeting other young people who love singing as much as they do. They also like to know that people are there for them if they need support for non-musical matters, so every NYCGB residential course has its own dedicated pastoral care team, trained in child protection and first aid.
