What? When? How? Who?

An individual audition can be a daunting prospect, so we do everything we can to make the process clear, friendly and supportive. Here's how it works:

1. Sign up (year-round)
If you haven't already done so, sign up to our mailing list and select the 'Auditions and open days' option. That way you'll be guaranteed to receive updates and information as soon as they're published.
2. Book (usually late September)
You'll be able to book via this website and will select the time, date and location of your audition. You can also apply for financial assistance to cover costs. Please use a computer as you currently can't book using some mobile phones.
3. Prepare
Once you've booked your audition, it's time to make sure you're as prepared as you can be. Check the links below to find out what's involved in the audition and how you can get ready.
4. Audition (usually October-November)
Our panelists want to assess your current ability, but they are also looking to see evidence of potential, your readiness to learn and how keen you are! Do your best, be your best. 
5. Get your result (December)
We email results once all auditions have taken place - typically in early December. If successful, you'll be asked to accept your place in the choir to which you've been allocated, based on your age and ability. All candidates are sent feedback on their audition so, even if you're not successful this time, you'll receive helpful tips and advice on how to improve your singing.
