Greg Watson is the Chief Executive of GL Education, a company which develops and publishes assessments – mostly taken online – which enable schools in the UK and overseas to understand children’s abilities and progress and to identify factors which might stop them achieving their full potential.

He was previously Chief Executive of OCR, an awarding body for GCSEs, A-levels and vocational qualifications, and of Bell, a leading, internationally recognised provider of English language learning and teaching.

Greg has served as a primary and secondary school governor, as a director of a Multi-Academy Trust, and as a trustee of an African educational and development charity. He sings tenor in his local choral society and is the proud father of two daughters whose musical achievements far exceed his own.

Greg graduated in modern languages from Queens’ College, Cambridge and is a Fellow of the RSA.
