National Youth Choir International Tour Sponsorship

We are extremely proud and excited that the 87 current members of the National Youth Choir will have the prestigious honour of representing Great Britain at the World Symposium on Choral Music (WSCM2020) in Auckland, New Zealand from the 15 – 18 July 2020.

We will be combining our participation at the WSCM2020 with a wider tour of New Zealand and Australia between the 7 July – 3 August 2020 to include performances in Wellington (NZ), Melbourne (AUS), Wangaratta, Canberra, Sydney and Brisbane, a collaboration with the National Youth Choir of Australia, and a homecoming concert at the Three Choirs Festival, Worcester.

The highlight of the tour will be singing at the World Symposium on Choral Music alongside 24 of the best choirs in the world. The National Youth Choir is the only British choir to be performing at this high-profile international event - the equivalent of being selected to compete for your country in the Olympics!

The tour includes:

• 10 Concerts
• 9 Cities/Towns
• 3 Countries
• Recordings
• Educational workshops
• Collaborations……

All of our members have undertaken a very competitive audition process, in order to secure their place as a member of the National Youth Choir for the 2019/20 season.

In order to participate in this once in a lifetime opportunity, they each need to raise £4,000 to cover their costs and are seeking sponsorship therefore to support this.
