NYCGB40

On Tuesday 11th April 2023, we'll be celebrating 40 years of NYCGB at the Royal Albert Hall in London.

The theme of the concert and new music commission will be Celebration and Belonging. The concert will be split into two halves and will feature an innovative mix of live and digital elements, including a creative reimagining of Thomas Tallis’ 40-part motet Spem in Alium with digital elements in the first half, Shenandoah being sung by our alumni community and, to conclude the evening, the new 40-part commission, written by Ben Parry and Anoushka Luca.

Tickets will be available to purchase via general sale now, with prices from £10 + venue booking fee.

  • Make sure you've got our special day in your diary (Tuesday 11th April, 2023)
  • If you're part of our alumni community, make sure you fill in our alumni survey to submit your favourite memories from your time in NYCGB - we'll use these on the night!
  • Follow us on social media and subscribe to our e-news for updates on the event itself and how you can get involved in our 40th celebrations

NATIONAL YOUTH CHOIRS OF GREAT BRITAIN is grateful to the Royal Albert Hall for their support of this event through a charity discounted let. This is one of the many ways in which the Hall, which is an independent registered charity, supports others in the charitable sector.
