National Youth Girls' Choir member Grace, who is a chorister at St Asaph Cathedral in Wales, has reached the grand final of the 2018 BBC Radio 2 Young Choristers of the Year competition. Now in its 32nd year, the prestigious competition celebrates the talented young musicians singing for worship in churches, chapels and cathedrals throughout the country. Past winners of the competition include NYCGB Alumna and crossover classical star Laura Wright.

Grace is one of eight singers - four girls and four boys - to make it to the final following two rigorous preliminary rounds. The final will take place at MediaCityUK in Salford on Saturday 20 October, in front of a jury chaired by composer Bob Chilcott. The winners, a boy and a girl, will each receive a trophy and the possibility of further performance opportunities on BBC Radio and Television throughout the year.

Good luck Grace!
