Since 2013 we've been working in partnership in regions where national statistics and our membership numbers indicate that there's a gap in singing provision. Teaming up with a strong local organisation, usually one of Arts Council England's Music Hubs, we deliver a three-year programme of activities and events for young people, and often supply professional training for teachers and leaders as well. Our aim is to get more young people singing and discovering and sharing their musical gifts, and to encourage the most talented to develop their talent and passion further. We make sure that NYCGB has an enhanced local presence for the duration of the partnership, holding audition days, residential courses and concerts in the area. Following two successful pilot partnerships in Cornwall and West Cumbria we're now actively engaged in Nottinghamshire, and lining up new partnerships for Tyne & Wear and Birmingham.
