    Situation

Access to music education varies widely across the UK for young people, especially if you are state educated, from a family with a low income, or in a community with little music on offer. Many aspiring young singers miss out on high-quality singing opportunities they can access in their region, and they lack the confidence, knowledge, or resources to take their singing further, particularly in finding routes into national opportunities.

    Solution

Each SING! engages 40-60 young singers in their own region, where we know there is a gap in musical provision. Our expert team design tailored programmes with partners in each community, with sessions spread across the year. All SING!ers develop their musical and vocal skills, explore diverse music, meet other local young singers, and experience a taster of what singing with National Youth Choir is like. They can even try a workshop-based audition to become a member if they choose!
