Since April 2012, if you leave at least 10% of your net estate to charity in your will, the Inheritance Tax rate on some of your assets can fall from 40% to 36%, directly benefiting your family and loved ones. Once they are provided for, even a small gift to NYCGB will make a big difference. If you would like to leave a gift in your will to NYCGB, we recommend that you initially speak to a will-writing expert, such as a solicitor or someone from your bank. Your gift will provide that future support New music to renew our national choral tradition. Since 1983 we have commissioned new music from composers including Sir John Tavener, Sir Karl Jenkins, Jonathan Dove, Roxanna Panufnik and Kerry Andrew, now performed nationally by choirs of all ages. Your gift will fund future commissions by leading composers or emerging talent. A first experience of singing for schoolchildren. Music education is threatened in state schools, and many children never get the chance to discover their voice. NYCGB works nationally and in partnership to deliver singing workshops to state schools. Your gift will drive our future national outreach and impact.
