We did it! Together, we have raised £65,941.24 which will directly help National Youth Choir members sing with us in 2024, by supporting those most in need with the costs of participating.

Where's the money going? 

£3,000 – To help applicants to request support towards travel and audition fees to attend National Youth Choir auditions. 

£45,000 – To assist up to 200 members who require financial support to attend National Youth Choir courses and concerts so they can get stuck in to enjoying all the benefits of singing with National Youth Choir. 

£5,000 – Cost of marketing and administration in recruiting new members from diverse backgrounds, crucial to welcoming more young singers from more backgrounds to join our choirs. 

£7,000 – To assist up to 200 members and parents with the cost of travelling to courses and concerts, so families can support and celebrate child’s participation without having to worry about the cost. 

Each year, we support 22% of our members with financial assistance, and as a charity, kind donations are essential to us being able to offer this package of support to a growing number of our members. 162 people donated to our appeal in the past week, and every single £ donated was doubled by our generous match donors, The Emily Fund and The Big Give. Many others have watched videos, liked photos, shared stories, and tweeted to help spread the word.
