In his own words:

Music has been at the centre of my life for as long as I can remember. I started out as a chorister at my local parish church in my childhood home of Liverpool, and soon went on to start studying at the Junior RNCM. It was not long before my teacher advised me that I should audition to join the National Youth Choir, and I haven’t looked back since. Having been a member of the National Youth Choir for quite some time, initially in the Training Choir, and later in the National Youth Choir 18-25 and Chamber Choir, I have seen first-hand how this incredible organisation can and will change your life. I am absolutely thrilled to now be working for the National Youth Choir and am so excited to play a part in offering amazing, life-changing opportunities to our wonderful young singers.

Alongside my work with the National Youth Choir, I spend much of my time singing in concerts and recording sessions, conducting, composing, and editing sheet music.

For the National Youth Choir:

Josh is responsible for planning, producing, and delivering digital content for the National Youth Choir's Creative and Learning teams. He works closely with Ruth Evans (Executive Producer), the National Youth Choir’s Principal Conductors and the wider team to create impactful digital content that can enhance performance outcomes, and to devise new avenues for exciting digital projects.

One of Josh's core responsibilities is the management of our record label which releases new recordings each month.
